A turns 2 1/2

This is my sweet niece, who I have been lucky enough to photograph quite often these last 2 years. I love every session with her!! She is full of personality and sassiness, which is fun to capture on the camera when she lets me. :)

Amoroso Family ~ Third time's a charm

After trying two other times to schedule a shoot and Ohio ruining them with bad weather, we were finally able to make it happen.
What a cute family these 3 make! Sarah is in my husband's Residency program and we have enjoyed getting to know them and little Isla. She was such a sweet and happy little girl while we were taking pictures and kept me on my toes with all her silly facial expressions. What a cutie!
Thank you Amoroso Family!

My Goates Family {extended family shoot}

While visiting Utah this summer, my whole family was together for the first time in 2 1/2 years. I was able to photograph us up in the mountains, with the help of my husband's brother who held the camera for me, since I needed to be in the group shots. I love the combination of the blues, pinks and beige, and I especially love this shot with all the small family units standing together.
These are all the current kiddos (although there is one on the way as well!) in their Utah gear, by Grandma and Grandpa Goates' request.
Ben, Amanda and their kids
 Lindsey, Dan and their kids
Me, Ryan and our kids (my dad helped take this one)
Thomas and Whitney (the night before their wedding, looking totally calm and collected)
My other brother and his family asked not to have theirs posted.

My mom and dad!

I'm so thrilled we were able to get these shots! Not everyone in this world agrees that photos are important, but to me they are priceless. I will cherish these photos forever. Every family deserves to have good quality photos taken every year. I hope it isn't too long before my own extended family can do this again!

Great to be Eight

This dapper young man is my nephew and he recently turned 8 years old. We weren't able to make it for his baptism into our church a few months ago, so I was excited to at least be able to take some photos of him at this important stage of life! To put it simply, he is all around a good kid and my two kids (both under four) look up to him so much. I'm grateful for his example to them and will be so happy if they turn out as stalwart and kind as their cousin, Drew.

Wedding Luncheon

My younger brother was married recently in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was given the opportunity to be their photographer during their wedding luncheon, held at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in downtown Salt Lake. It was an absolutely beautiful location, with a breathtaking view out the windows (which took up one whole wall!). We were able to celebrate a sweet couple who I love, and I tried my hand for the first time at event photography. It was a blast!
Thank you Thomas and Whitney for trusting me. Love you!
